I got this fun tip from Aromatherapy daily last night. I think it would be fun to try. :)

Scented Stones

Almost any smooth, porous stone can be turned into a fragrant diffuser. Using a pipette or a cotton swab apply your favorite essential oils to the stones. Sit them in a sunny window and enjoy the scent. The sun is the secret ingredient that warms the scent. Refresh as needed.
