Sunburn and Lavender Essential Oil.

Shalom & Happy Scriptural New Year Everyone!

This year Pesach (Passover) came out of NOWHERE! I think most of us thought it was going to be next month; I sure did! Our fellowship group had to plan a Pesach (Passover) camping trip in less than two weeks. It was a mad dash, but was such a blessing!

During Passover and Unleavened Bread, I got a nasty sunburn! Or should I say burn, after burn, after burn, after burn. lol Seriously I looked like a tomato! I have been using lavender essential oil since the first day of sun; PRAISE YAH, I had brought my Young Living Lavender Essential Oil (as well as about 15 to 20 other just-in-case-I-need-them YL essential oils).

Lavender essential oil has helped me tremendously! As soon as I put it on, the therapeutic-grate essential oil soothed the hot and burning feeling. I applied it every few hours. I am SO thankful Yah had me pack the Lavender Essential Oil!

On the subject of burns - twice since I learned about Young Living's Lavender Essential Oil, I have burned my finger while cooking on the stove top. Yeah, you would 'think' I would learn the first time... Both times I reached to the Lavender Essential Oil and whoala, the burn went away - one burn an hour or two. Praise Yah!

So, if you plan a day of working outside, at the beach, park, or at Sukkot (in my case Pesach), bring your Young Living therapeutic-grade Lavender Essential Oil! IT IS A BLESSING in a purple labeled bottle!

Lavender Essential Oil - 15 ml
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has a fresh, sweet, floral, herbaceous aroma that is soothing and refreshing. Because it is the most versatile of all essential oils, no home should be without it. Lavender is an adaptogen, and therefore can assist the body when adapting to stress or imbalances. It is a great aid for relaxing and winding down before bedtime, yet has balancing properties that can also boost stamina and energy. Therapeutic-grade lavender is highly regarded for skin and beauty. It may be used to soothe and cleanse common cuts, bruises, and skin irritations. The French scientist René Gattefossé was among the first to discover these properties when he was severely burned in a laboratory explosion. Lavender may also be used to enhance the flavor of foods. Lavender has an approximate ORAC of 3,669 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter.Lavender Essential Oil (PDF)
